Following items, which are needed during Shri Satyanarayana Vrat Puja, should be collected before Shri Satyanarayana Vrat day. This list doesn't include daily Puja items but it lists only those items which are needed especially for Satyanarayana Vrat Puja.

1. Banana stems as poles, Mango leaves
2. Panchapallava, Kalasha
3. Pancharatna, Rice, Naivedya
4. Camphor, Dhoopa, Diya, Tulsi leaves, Garland of flowers, Roses
5. Shriphala, Rituphala, Paan, Panchamrita (milk, curd, honey, sugar)
6. Angavastram, Vastra, Kalawa, Yajnopavita
7. Saffron (केसर), Bandanwara, Chowki
8. Picture of lord Satyanarayana
